Accommodating up to eleven guests over three bedrooms and the garage, which has been converted into an extra sleeping space.
Just one street back from the beach and Tay Street Cafe, a five minute wander will have you at a popular, patrolled stretch on Mount Maunganui Beach, which the locals call Tay Street.
Located on Muricata Ave and tucked well off the road, at the end of a shared driveway is The Big Wave.
Walking you through, a tiled floor greets you on entry and high ceilings throughout making it light and bright. The kitchen and ground floor living catch sight of each other through the middle level with stair cases following either side. Stepping down to the spacious ground floor living area, is a tranquil, calm room that opens out onto your very own private, shaded deck which is boarded by established gardens and trees. A BBQ grill and outdoor seating is provided allowing you to relax and enjoy those stunning afternoons or cooler mornings listening to the birds while sipping on a good coffee.
Heading back inside, on the middle floor is bedroom one which has a queen bed and also has access to the deck, a study room equipped with a desk and chair, the main bathroom that holds a bath, shower and basin, a seperate toilet and finally the laundry with washer and dryer.
At the top of next flight of stairs stands the large open kitchen, perfect for those at home chefs. Fitted out with top quality stainless steel appliances and walk in scullery, be sure to make the most of the coffee machine provided. While the cook of the house prepares the meals, your group can look on while they get comfortable in the second lounge. A build in window seat that is basked in sun will become a popular spot. The dining area is located in its very own glass conservatory over looking the street.
At the very top of the castle is the master bedroom that is provided with a king bed, ceiling fan and ensuite featuring a walk in shower, toilet and basin.
The kids will be over joyed to discover the hidden room as they make their way up the ladder to their very own play space.
The garage will become the ultimate hang out spot for the older kids! Two single beds and one set of bunk beds are found here along with a football table for added fun. The third bedroom opens up off the garage and has a queen bed, this also has access to the exterior front of the house.
This home really is all about levels and features many, many different rooms and spaces, perfect for a large family looking for a holiday home that can cater for all under one roof.
There is room for two vehicles in front of the house on the shared driveway and plenty of free parking on the street if you require more.
The beach is only a causal five minutes stroll away and on your way back why not stop in at the Tay Street cafe for a refreshing smoothie or coffee and bite to eat.
